For completing a CC surface repair / road repair (resurfacing) project, what you will need is the following:-

Project Instructions

RAZON P.W.R is best applied at temperatures between 16⁰C to 32⁰C and where humidity is <85% for atleast 3-4 hours.

Step 1
Surface Preparation:

• • Clean the concrete pavement to remove any debris, loose concrete, and dust It is best to use mechanical equipment like a grinder with wire brush wheel. This cleaning step ensures that the repair product proper adheres well to the old concrete pavement.
    NOTE: use a degreasing chemical must be used to remove any dirt, oil, grease or deteriorating concrete. Do not use caustic chemicals for this purpose.
  • Prepare deeply spalled areas like potholes, and repair large cracks with RAZON Super EPB 525.
  • Wash the entire surface using a high pressure water jet, so as to get a deep clean, and dust free surface.
  • NOTE : it is important that control joints and expansion joints are maintained to allow for slab movement.

Step 2
It is important to keep observing the pavement surface. It should be damp (and cool), but just before application of the materials, it should not have any water puddles.

Step 3

Mix The Anchorex 184 liquid with OPC cement in 1:1 proportion, and spread the Anchorex 284 mix on the semi dry concrete surface. Use a broom to spread the Anchorex 284 on the surface as evenly as possible.

Step 4

Mix the RAZON P.W.R in a strong bucket with the help of a drill machine having a paddle mixer attachment. Add 2.5-3 liter of water per bag of RAZON P.W.R, and mix well till homogenous paste is obtained. 2.5 Liter water per 20 kg bag of RAZON P.W.R provides a very tough and abrasion resistant surface. 

Step 5
Using a Wiper evenly spread the RAZON P.W.R on the pavement with a back and forth movement and with pressure so that the RAZON P.W.R presses into the Anchorex coated pavement.

Step 7
Using a concrete broom provide surface roughness within 30-40 minutes of mixing.

TIP: make full broom strokes across the entire distance of the work area without stopping (all broom strokes should be made in the same direction for uniformity of appearance).

Step 8
After 12-24 hours prepare “ponds” on the repaired surface, and fill these ponds with water for curing. Water curing for minimum 7 days in necessary.
