SPRMC R 305
SPRMC R 305 is a High Range Water Reducer – Super Plasticizer with slump retention qualities. It provides highly workable concrete at low water contents, improving the quality, consistency of concrete and enhancing the strenght development at all ages.
SPRMC R 305 is a Retarder- Superplasticizer essential for:
- Highly workable concrete, wherein large sections must be filled without the possibility for honeycombing.
- SPRMC R 305 finds best application for high rib shear sections, wherein narrow sections must be pour filled by a cohesive mix to ensure a uniform fill between moulds.
- Ready mix concrete plants where long haulage of ready mix mortar is required. SPRMC R 305 gives cohesive & uniform mix enhancing concrete rheology profoundly.
- Concrete in arid climate where temperatures above 400– 500 Celsius are encountered.
- Advanced polymers of SPRMC R 305 aids in pumping concrete over long distances.
- SPRMC R 305 disperses cement by stearic & electrostatic forces augmenting mechanical mixing ensuring speedy, uniform, cohesive & homogenous mix.
- SPRMC R 305 is powerful water reducer, which enhances concrete strength, & increases impermeability coefficient of concrete.
It is dark liquid with specific gravity around 1.18, harmless to handle and long shelf life if stored in cool dry place.
Retarder SPRMC R 305 can be used with any kind of cement. However it is recommended that traffic and tests be carried out before use to establish input output parameters for design mixes. SPRMC R 305 is completely devoid of calcium chloride and hence has no deteriorating effect on reinforcements. It is considered as latest generation of improved RMC retarder. SPRMC R 305 is found to delay the onset of setting by + 150-180 mins.
Greater dosages may be used depending upon concrete design, water cement ratio, aggregates, workability desired, required final strength, slump value requires etc.
SPRMC R 305 shows profound retardation in setting time of cement; enhances workability, possesses high wetting properties improves cohesion hence reduces segregation, increases ultimate strength, enhances concrete bonding to steel reinforcements. It is a boon to Ready Mix Concrete products.
