“DTMXP” COLD BITUMENOUS EXPANSION JOINT SEALER
For Bitumen expansion joint, Bitumen needs to be heated for pouring into floor expansion joints. This is a very cumbersome process, and generally avoided. DTMXP is specially formulated fluid bituminous formulation which can be directly poured into floor expansion joints, without heating.
Method of use. Clean the floor, clear the expansion joint to enable free flow of DTMXP into the joint without hindrance. Open DTMXP container, stir the contents thoroughly, take a metallic container or tin, press its lip to obtain smooth thin stream of flow, if DTMXP is poured into the expansion joint from this container. Ensure the flow of DTMXP material is in the form of a narrow stream which flows into the expansion joint without spilling outside the joint. Excess material should be scrapped away with sharp edged metal spatula. Clean hands and tools with kerosene, thinner, MTO diesel or any similar solvent easily available. Wash hands with soap & water for removing odour.
Material can be stored for a year if stored in factory sealed container in cool dry place, away from sun light . Keep the lid of container thoroughly closed when using. Close the container lid thoroughly after use.
