BATHROOM GROUTING TREATMENT

BATHROOM, TOILET WATER PROOFING USING SPECIAL GROUTING SYSTEM:

Sunken Slab leakeages are due to seepages in Sunken portion through tile joints, door chowkats, opened tile joints, cracks in tiles, consealed piping or drain lines, improperty laid drain and nani traps.

The Sunken Slab surface can be treated completely by treatment given below or our Treatment For Bathroom and Toilet.

The treatment comprises of injection of Special Grouting System which is specially manufactured for plugging and stopping sunken slab seepages.

If grouting /injection from top; drill 10 mm holes near door frames, near nanitrap and 6" away from water closet joints. The holes near door frames should be drilled upto the RCC slab. Grout Special Grouting System till saturation grouting.

Seal all Tile Joints with Tile Joint Sealer. If the tile joint are open and tiles are broken, use our Tile Fix#1 to lay new tiles on existing tile and seal tile joints with Tile Joint Sealer.

If the treatment is to be given from below the sunken slab. Drill 10 mm hole at following points, near door position near the water closet joint and in the centre of the wet patch on sunken slab.

Drill hole till it pierces through the RCC only. Inject Special Grouting System using a diphram pump till saturation grouting.

Taking total RCC thickness as 4" drill 10mm round, 3" deep into RCC. The drill should not penetrate into sunken portion. These holes must be drilled in the sunken portion in the centre of the wet patch. One hole per patch. Inject Special Grouting System, using diaphram pump till saturation grouting.

TREATMENT FOR PROVIDING OUTLET IN THE SUNKEN PORTION OF BUILDING

WITH SEEPAGE PROBLEM IN BATHROOM & TOILET:

On many occasion due to hostile and poor upper storey bathroom toilet an outlet needs to be provided in the sunken portion. So that all the water accumulated in the sunken portion is allowed to flow out without creating seepages.

For such a treatment 1/2" hole is drilled in the well-wall corner, the hole is drilled till bickbat is struck. Another 1/2" hole is drilled into the well-wall, taking precaution that it is away from drain lines using our CEM 256 quick setting mortar is prepared and 1/2" pipe elbow arrangement is used to direct the water outside.

For treating exposed RCC our Anchorex is used as repair mortar Admixture.
