DAMP PROOFER

 

Water based White Acrylic Coating can be applied on +ve side of seepage as well as –ve side.

Damp Proofer is most suitable for coating on external and internal walls. It forms a firm, adherent

elastic film preventing ingression of water. For internal walls it forms a breathable film, hence 

eliminating unpleasant damp patch over the walls.

 

Application:

Remove all existing treatments. Scrub surface with wire brush to remove all loose material dust

etc. Damp Proofer must be applied on oil/grease free, dust free, clean & firm surface for best

results.

 

Fill all cracks with Crack Seal. Avoid widening of cracks. Press Crack Seal into the cracks either

with a spatula if the surface is smooth or mere pressing it with fingers will ensures adequate

penetration of Crack Seal into the crack. Allow 24 hours for the Crack Seal to cure.

 

Stir the contents of Damp Proofer. 15-10% clean water as diluent may be added if required. Scrub

surface well with wire brush before application. Particularly for external surfaces, to ensure

firm bonding of surface. Apply first coat. Allow 8 hours curing. Apply 2nd coat.

 

For interior application should palti filling be required mix china whitening with Damp Proofer

for spatula filling. Allow 24 hours for drying, Sand paper it to obtain fine smooth finish.

 

Apply two coats of Damp Proofer. Use universal stainers to obtain desired shade. This can form

final coat, and is brush applied or roller coated. No overcoat is necessary with enamel paint, or

other acrylic coats.

 

For external coatings, apply two coats as suggested above. Use Crack Seal for sealing cracks.

Damp Proofer has good adhesion to cement paint.

 

Coverage: 50 to 70 sq.ft. per litre depending on the type of surface.
