   TILE JOINT SEALER

Tile Joint Sealer  is  a  cementiteous  formulation for sealing tile-joints or tile-sandhas. Tile joints  are  conventionally  sealed  by  using white cement. These joints are seldom cured. Tile Joint Sealer  is  a  factory  prepared formulation, which does not require curing; it sets into   a  hard  filler  on  its  own  within  24  hours.  Cement trends to shrink on setting thus getting  loose  in joints. Tile Joint Sealer expands on setting hence seals the joint/sandhas completely. 

Loose tile-joints or tile-sandhas, or open tile joints can cause seepage. It is very important to have high  adhesive and high bond strength Tile Joint Sealer. Tile Joint Sealer has very high  adhesive  strength   and  high  bond  strength ,  both  features necessary for tile joint sealing. 

To seal tile-joints or tile-sandhas in old tiles, clean the tile joints or sandhas well using thin brush, and a ‘Palti pata’ to remove all loose material between the joints. 

Mix  water  with Tile Joint Sealer to bring it to paste like consistency, press this mortar into the  joints  with  fingers ,  press  firmly ,  clear  excess  material  using  clean  cloth.  Allow 24 hours for Tile Joint Sealer to harden. Preferably cure for 2-3 days. 

Tile Joint Sealer  can  be  used  forceramic tiles, glazed tiles, marbles slabs, granite tiles / slabs for  external  facades,  in bathroom,  W.C.,  swimming pools,  basements, hospitals, hotels, kitchen etc. 

Tile  Joint    Sealer   is  available  in  following  standard  colours  Pink ,  Green ,  Majenta, White, Blue, Pacific-Blue, Alpine-Blue, Bottle-green, Sapphire, Black, Ivory, Burgundy.

Application

Sealing old Tile joints or sandhas sealing in freshly laid tiles etc. In case of leaking sunken portion exhibiting seepage. Clean all Tile Joints & seal Tile joints. Plug cavities if any at door frame embedded into the floor with Tile Joint Sealer, use trowel if necessary to plug this cavity completely.

Storage

Store in dry place. Avoid packets from tearing.
