 PIPE MASTER

Manufacture  of  spun  pipe  comprises  of  making  cement  mortar,  using cement, sand, stone  dust  &  grit  metal,  pouring  it into  spinning  mould.  The  poured  concrete   gets compacted  by  centrifugal  force  and  light  tamping. The  mould is opened after  24 – 48 hours & pipe is rolled or hoisted into the curing tank.

The   compaction  of  cement  mortar  is  primarily  achieved  by  centrifugal  force  in  the spinning mould. The cement mortar is to flow around the reinforcement bars, which some times  leads  to  low impermeability & hence lead to low water pressure leakages in these pipes.

Pipe Master has been designed specifically for manufacture of spun pipes.

Pipe  Master   ensures  cement  is  uniformly  distributed  by  electro-chemical   forces through out the mortar, ensuring uniform consistency of cement mortar.

The cohesiveness of the cement mortar is increased.

The plasticizing effect of Pipe Master ensures high flow-index, high workability, hence the mortar can flow  around reinforcement bars & compacts into a dense mass under the usual centrifugal forces.

The improved cohesiveness,  improved  flow  index  improved cement distributions in the  cement  mortar  ensures better compaction & high quality. Special water proofing features of  Pipe Master  ensures that the cement mortar after complete hydration has greater impermeability and hence can withstand greater hydrostastic pressure.

Using   Pipe  Master  improved  finish  will  be  observed on external pipe surface. For better mould release our Shutter Coat (metal) is recommended.

Due to the improved cohesiveness improved flow ,  improved cement distribution and  denser mortar, the cube strength will be higher where Pipe Master is used.

Pipe Master reduces hygrostatic pressure  test failure ,  reduces breakages, cracks in pipes, cement content can be reduced without effecting quality,  pipe  cost is reduced, profitability per pipe is increased, over-all-working profit of the unit is increased due to low rejections, & better quality of pipes.

METHOD OF USE:

Add  150 – 200 ml Pipe Master per bag cement in the concrete mixer. Add gauging water as usual holding back of 4 – 5 ltr  water. Best results are obtained if Pipe Master is added to 4-5 litres of gauging water which is added last into the concrete mixer and is allowed to be mixed for 1 –2 minutes & charged into the spinning mould.

Many Pipe manufacturing units are  located in remote regions  &  bore well water is used for preparing concrete & curing. It is recommended that pH of the  bore well water should be regularly checked, it should preferably be around 7 & above, but not  below 7.
