METHOD

A simple to use single   component rubberised formulation for water proofing application has high bond strength to masonry, concrete, metal, wood, etc.  can be used in pouring rain situations also,the second coat in such case must be applied in dry condition. For basement, water tanks aquaducts, terraces, swimming  pools, for sunken slabs of bathroom & w.c. to protect exposed wooden partitions   pointing & dabar masonry walls, etc. or just any  application where water ingression is to be stopped 

Clear surface to receive coating of rubberised instant Water proofer throughly,

1. Remove all dust, loose material, wire brush scrubbing is found most effective.

2. Scrub surface with mop to   remove free dust etc. 

3. Apply first coat of R.I.W.P. on the surface, use turpentine or our   R.I.W.P.-Thinner 5% as diluent for 1st coat only.  Allow 12 hours curing, apply second coat without diluent,  Cross coating of surface ensure area throughly covered ie. if the first coat is along the breadth,the second coat must be along the length.

The treatment can be applied locally over areas showing cracks on surface,suspected  to lead to seepage. The  localised treatment facility available with R.I.W.P. will greatly reduce water proofing     cost,wherein tar felt or brick bat - treatment the  entire surface is required  to be treated and no localised  treatment is feasible.  

On many occasions the seepage is through parapet walls, vertical walls,over chhaja/  wall junctions.  Since  R.I.W.P.is brushable it can be  applied over vertical surface easily.  This is a major advantage.
