Clear the expansion joint thoroughly on the terrace, use wire brush for thorough cleaning. Remove all earlier coating.

Fill Expansion Joint with Rubberised Sealer. Seal thoroughly using a spatula. Allow 12 hours for the sealant to cure & settle firmly. Incase of shrinkage, brush with wire brush lightly and re-fill the cavity till it is uniformly in level with surrounding surface.

Considering joint depth of 2.54cms and joint width of  2.54 cms.Cost of filling cavity with Rubberised Sealer

Coat 2 feet on either side of Expansion Joint with Rubberised Instant Water Proof Coating. Apply two coats.                         

Rs. 19.00 per rft

Spread felt mat over the Expansion Joint, ensure no air entrapped, spread it uniformly on Rubberised Instant Water Proof Coating. Cover felt mat while R.I.W.P.C it is still wet.

 Use blow torch for softening the mat. Cost of tar mat per rft of the joint being sealed                      

Rs. 18.00 per rft

Apply one coat of on Rubberised Instant Water Proof Coating over the mat and over coat with Silver Coat so that Rubberised Instant Water Proof Coating is completely covered. Cost of one coat RIWPC and One coat S.C.                                

Rs. 14.00 per rft

This does not include cost of heating mat, cost of coating  RIWPC, Cost of  coating S.C., supervision cost etc.

This treatment will last for 8 –10 years.
