1.  Dig 3 holes, 2 holes near chowkats to the toilet/bathroom  one hole near the nani trap, in case of bathroom or behind the pot in case of W.C. . The holes must be 2" dia and 7"-9" or more deep, depending upon the depth of the sunken slab. The holes must be up to the RCC slab.

2.  Fix 1" dia. sockets on these holes, using Insta Plug Mortar (Mfg. by Razon Engg, Co. Pvt. Ltd.) After the Mortar is set  and firm, fix 4" long 1" dia G.I. pipe to the socket and grout cement slurry.

3.  The Cement slurry should be grouted up to saturation, The cement slurry should be of follwoing composition, Cement 3 Kgs, Water 5 Ltrs, and Rapid Grout 200ml (Mfg. by Razon Engg. Co. Pvt. Ltd.)   8' x 4' sunken slab will generally take 30-35 Ltr grour maximum, the  combination of cement:water:Rapid Grout in the proportion 3:5:200 

is about 7 ltrs, hence about 5 such units are required.

4.  Immediately after grouting, knock off the sockets, fill the hole with Strextra NSG-110(Mfg. by Razon Engg. Co. Pvt. Ltd.) sealing the cavity

5.  Dig portion arount the nani-trap, to expose the nane trap completely, fill the entire cavbity with 10 Kgs or Strextra NSG-110 and 200mlIntegral Water Proofer (both products mfg. by Razon Engg. Co. Pvt. Ltd.)

6.  Replace all tiles damaged or broken, and seal all tile joints with Tile Joint Sealer (manufactured by Razon Engg. Co, Pvt. Ltd.)

Water proofing by cement slurry injection for existing sunken slab treatment is most economic solution. However cement and water in the ratio 1:10 is commonly used, increasing cement ratio improves slurry quality but the slurry ceases to flow. Usin g Rapid Grout cement proportion can be increased to 3:5 which is otherwise impossible, hence improving grouting efficasy tremendously. The negative hydrostatic pressure imposed by the” brick bat pulls water into the sunken portion from the minutest source, leading to saturation of the sunken portion with water causing seepage. Rapid grout counters this pressure and makes it increasingly more difficult for water to enter into the sunken portion. These two major factors ensure 100% success in cement injection grouting for sunken portion if our above time tested procedure is adopted.
