Epoxy Coat 117 is epoxy formulation having high bond strength to metals,  concrete wood & wide variety of       substrates high alkaline acid        resistance, it is gray in color.

EC 117 is two part resin + hardener  system, preferably brush coated to build 200-300 micron thick layer of  Epoxy film.

Metal surface preparation:

Clean metal surface thoroughly   with wire brush to remove all dust rust, etc, if the metal surface is  covered with grease, & rust. Clean  it with our Metal-Clean to obtain   clean-rust free surface. Allow the surface to dry.

Concrete Surface:  

Clean the surface thoroughly using  wire brush, to remove all dust using a dry cloth. If the surface     is loose & tends to crumble on  scrubbing, it is advisable to plaster the surface using our

Corrosion Protect & Master Plaster cure for 7 days. Allow surface to dry, Coat EC 117.

  Clean the wooden surface of earlier   coatings sand paper the surface to       obtain clean surface. Apply EC 117.

Priming Coat    

Apply first coat of EC 117 or C.T.E  using 2 parts thinner & 1 part EC      

 117/CTE. This coats having high penetration & enters every small      crevices & cracks & acts as priming coat allow 8 hours for this base       coat to dry.                                  Apply two coats of EC 117/CTE over priming coat using thinner if required  thinner should not be more than 5%-10%.)    

These products are most ideal forcoating on metal surfaces exposed to acidic or alkaline environment.
