Concrete masonry blocks are  most economical, These blocks are made of cement, sand, grit   & dust. 

Increase in cement and grit  give high strength. For high       impermeability high dust content is necessary. But     increasing dust give higher  impermeability, better finish  and reduces strength.  

When masonry work is on,         blocks get hardly 7-8 days          curing hence leading to high     breakage.

28 - 30 blocks are made from     one bag of cement hence            breakage of 3-5 blocks mean      10% to 16.6% loss. Due to          inadequate curing block             strength is  low. 

All these disadvantages can be  overcome by using 200 ml Block Maker with cement upto 8-9%   Which give 90-100% strength on7-10 days curing. 

It is possible to use upto  flyash with Block Maker.

Mix all aggregates as           usual.                        

Add 200 ml Block Makersto gauging water per bag of cement.  Cast blocks as usual.   

1.Cement upto 8-9% gives       excellent results.                     impermeability without loss  

2.Dust upto 10%-15% yield  excellent finish and high     impermeability without loss   of strength.                                                                              3.Strength of 90% - 100%      within 7 - 10 days.                                                                4.No loss of blocks either     (i) In the casting stage or (ii) after 24 hour.  (iii) after 7-8 days curing                                                        5.The blocks are water proof   and exhibit high                      impermeability due to Block  Maker                              

  Price of Block Maker in 200     ltrs packing Rs.30.00 per litre.                                                 Dosage 200ml per bag of         cement. Cost of 200 ml block maker  Rs.6.00 

Cost per block is taken at  Rs.8.00    Normal breakage of 3-5   blocks per 28-30 blocks   i.e.10% - 16%. per 1,00,000 blocks 10,000  to 16000 blocks  break  i.e. for 1,00,000 blocks

Rs.80,000.00-Rs.1,28,000.00   worth of blocks are lost. Quantity of Block Maker   required for 1.00,000  block @ 29 blocks per beg of cement i.e.689 ltrs.   Cost of 689 Ltr.Block Maker  @ Rs.30-00 per litre  Rs.20,670.00

Hence savings of Rs.80,000.00 to Rs.1,28,000 if Rs.20,670/- worth of Block Maker is used.

Total savings, or gain available to the customer per 1,00,000 blocks:

1. Savings due to blocks not breaking (average of 90,000 + 1,44,000 = Rs 1,17,000)

2. Reduction in cost per block, since 5-6 blocks extra can be made with Block Maker i.e. 6/30 x100 = 20% extra blocks i.e.20,000 blocks extra @ Rs.9-00  i.e. Rs 1,80.000-00

Total benefit accuring in manufacturing 1,00,00 blocks using BLOCK MAKER  Rs.1,17,000 + 1,80,000 = Rs. 2,97,000-00

PACKING:

The material is available in packing of 1 ltr,5 ltr,20 ltrs,50 ltrs, & 200 ltrs, metal packing which are easy to handle & storage life of 1 - 2 years.
